How It Works

From a referral to a circle that answers

The goal is compatibility, not exclusivity. We select for character — never profession, income, education, age, politics, or status.

Step 1

A member refers you

Someone who understands the culture introduces you — and shares this site so you can decide whether it resonates.

Step 2

A short application

A few written questions about values — your experience with connection, why you want this, what you'll contribute.

Step 3

Coffee with members

Informal conversations with two or three members. Not interviews — a sense of whether you show up emotionally.

Step 4

The circle welcomes you

Existing members confirm the fit by consent. You join a circle that chose you — and that you chose back.

Step 5

A buddy for 90 days

Every new member is paired with an existing member for their first 90 days — someone whose job is making sure you land.

Step 6

You show up

Every two weeks, minimum — in person when you can, on a video call when travel or life gets in the way. Missing occasionally is human; disappearing is not. Friendship grows through consistency.

Gatherings

Intentionally simple. Deliberately unimpressive.

Potluck dinners, shared meals, coffee, walks, conversation — every two weeks, format decided by each circle. No agenda, no presentations, no forced icebreakers, no networking.

"No one eats alone" — any member can post "I'm having dinner tonight, anyone free?"
Celebration calendar — birthdays, promotions, recoveries, new babies, retirements.
Seasonal check-in — every few months, the circle pauses to talk about how the rhythm's working and adjust format together.
The Commitment

Membership is free. The commitment is not.

No dues, no fees, no ads, no sponsors with agendas. Costs are shared organically — the potluck model.

i.Attend gatherings every two weeks — in person or by video call.
ii.Show up for members during significant life events.
iii.Welcome and integrate new members.
iv.Respect confidentiality absolutely.
v.Be present — phones away, attention on people.
vi.Contribute generously; never exploit the circle commercially or romantically.
The Fifteen Promise

A formal pledge, made by every circle.

If someone in our circle experiences a death in the family, serious illness, surgery, divorce, job loss, a move, or a personal crisis — the circle shows up.

Meals, visits, calls, rides, practical help. Not because someone organized it. Because that's what circles do.

Sound like your people?

Membership is by referral. If a member shared this site with you, that's your invitation.
